I took a walk on some trails around Lake Massabesic, Auburn, NH on Thusday of last week. All these photos were taken at different points around the lake. I haven't even begun to explore all the trails. The fall foliage still isn't at its peak, maybe in a week or two. Some areas are starting to change a bit. Oak trees are still green, but the maples are starting to change color in some areas.
This is a popular launch location for kayakers.
Walking down the trail, this scene reminded me of an "enchanted forest" from a kids fairytale.
